I saw this photograph on Facebook and had to paint it. I had just learned to kayak, so I was pretty excited about the subject matter. I have taken up many new hobbies since I retired. Don't wait until retirement to try kayaking, it is so much fun! The lady who took this photograph and shared it with me, received a free poster print of this painting for her generosity . She reminisced that it was a memory filled trip with friends down the Buffalo River in Arkansas.
