This painting was rendered from a photograph that was taken by my Samsung phone near Heber Springs, AR, on a lake during the early spring, when the swans were migrating home. It was painted on black canvas because I was in a black canvas phase. I loved painting on black canvas. I named it #1 because I intend to paint more swans. They are so beautiful. I really love painting water and water scenes.
