This painting was painted in the plein-air style on the Buffalo National River near Steel Creek. This was the first time I tried to paint outdoors in the middle of nature. What a fun and refreshing experience! I will surely be doing this again. Steel Creek area has many beautiful cliffs which I will return to again for future plein-air paintings.
