This painting was begun with several visits to Steel Creek on the Buffalo National River. Painting plein air is one of my favorite ways to paint. I enjoy being there in nature experiencing the site as I paint. This site brings back memories for many people as it is a favorite swimming, camping and horseback riding area for tourists and Arkansans.
