I love Vincent Van Gogh's colors and style. When I wanted to paint the dogwood tree in my front yard, I decided to paint it in Van Gogh's colors. This painting is modeled after the many paintings he painted of the peach orchards. I used my own style because I like it better than the thick textures of Van Gogh. The resultant painting emerged in blazing color, a dogwood tree at first bloom.
